Deranged stalker of the night
I make my escape from wherever I am
The moon my only companion
It longs for itself to be pure again
And no longer be stained with the blood
Of a dark velvet rose
That I set in the grass in wait
Of something I don't even know
Kisses goodnight
From dying red lips
To an innocent star
To wildflowers and misfits
