stark

here is an outback-mind,
naked and dry,
all mystery [ like water ]
buried deep.

casual conversations trip
on the glare of curious sun-
light
and the whispers shout

interpret us slightly,
for each desert is merely a forest
grown reckless.

she smiles,

then stares against the moon
instead.

sunlight... I don't know why .....but sunlight seems further away than the moon..
perhaps because the moon never fills up with voices like light does in my head
and in spite of the distance, the absolute bleakness of it, it remains a far closer friend..

when I read you... it stings behind my eyes in a way ..I could never explain here..

    just know that it does.

  • I remember reading this ... I don't remember why I didn't comment. But nowthat I'm here, all I can really do is repeat colin. Well worth the gold

I really don't know what to say for this one, it reads so very softly yet has such hard undertones and I can offer nothing to change in it.

    Excellent
