You Robbed My Happiness

I was out today in a small town it was so sandy
a kid walked up to me and asked for some candy
I handed him one and looked at me so sadly
he said in a quivering voice, you killed my daddy

tears rolled down his cheeks, and walked away
looked up to the sky and ask god to bless this day
the storms fades away and here come a cool shade

another child walked up to me and said can I be your friend
I know you killed my daddy with you sharpen knife blade
you only did your job you did not mean to take his life away

a girl walked up to me and said my name is Candy
I love my father so much, are you a daddy?
I replied in a quivering voice, yes I am a daddy
she said you killed my brother and took my granny
you robbed me of my happiness, and killed my family

    Heartbreaking once again.
    I hope this isn't a true story.

99% of this poem is true. I was out a couple of weeks ago, and we were doing this mission and a few kids came up to me, these kids lost their fathers to Terrorists, and the only thing they have in their minds is that US, CF are responsible for their fathers souls, and it hit me really hard that these kids will grow up knowing that we are nothing else but murderers. I will send you a private message later lol, thanks though
