once upon a time
a damsel fell depressed
her skirt had shrunken in the rain.
her hair
poofy from the humidity
a sorry sight for a princess
the prince had no attraction
no feeling for the beauty
the one masked by blemishes
they got married.
her tears soaked as he stared
a smile never reaching his mouth
he loved another
he wanted another
and she wanted him.
the priest spoke
a moan escaped his lips
he was obligated to say 'i do'.
her heart wouldn't allow her to say not
the honeymoon
had no happiness for her
no pride for him
he thought of the other
the one he wished for his life
she cried at the end while he slept
wishing he could love
someone who was her
she gave his a child
and they lived forever longer
her love for him grew
and she became no stranger to him.
he loved
and they lived happily ever after

I dunno, maybe your rusty...it seems like you summarized what could have been an intriguing tale. It was pretty vague and blunt and general. Welcome back anyway though right? yaaaaaaaaaaaay!
