The garden is infested
of all that was warned and detested
the sky displays shades of angry red
and the proud little roses they are all dead
the cold wind disheartend weeps as it blows
and the deep rooted weeds are all thats left to grow
powerfull pounding of endless rain could not wash away
the enevatable impressions so gallently stained
the shallow puddles leave a prism of faded colour a
reflection of time's battle so abruptly explained
trees stand like wounded soldiers as their leaves
parachute down until vulnrable no more
and the now idle choir excepted a new invatation
so they humbely declined another oncore
stillness now recruited, where beauty ceases to exist
unleashing the polluted, deaths dark shadows release a final kiss
The garden was infested
of all that was warned and detested

Simple rhyme, but some good imagery and vocabulary. Quite a few spelling mistakes, I can not stress enough to take a couple minutes to proof-read before entering. It takes away from your credibility and MY ability to enjoy the poem. Thanks for entering; keep writing!

i love the repetition at the end. This poem is full of emotion. I really like " trees stand like wounded soldiers" and " reflection of battle so abrubtly explained" very good write.
good luck!
