The sun was setting over the horizon
Laura was walking in the middle of the road
With only a backpack
She left him, left a note on the motel tv screen that said GoodBye
She left her boyfriend.
She didn't know he was protecting her
Protecting her from the things that hide in the shadows.
Soon to be dark and no place to go
Movement in front of her
Couldn't see good, too blurry from afar
A woman with long black hair
Crawling toward her
Wolves growling and barking at her
She was surrounded
Laura had no place to go
She regretted ever leaving Mark
She was now helpless to the demons
Then, the sunset was gone and there was darkness
Author notes
This is what I picture when I heard the song Theme of Laura by Akira Yamaoka. I used the name Laura. I suck at rhyming.
