Love plays a cruel game
and when played, shows shame.
Love tortures the heart,
and gives the soul a non-exsisting part.
Love can give false hope.
Love can make you want to mope.
Love has harsh ways.
The harder it is, the longer it stays.
Love's harsh ways
can number your days.
Love's harsh ways
keeps singles at bay.
Although love is harsh
it can be very appealing.
Though its ways are harsh,
you heart it'll be stealing.
