Moon of the Night

The human form grasping to catch one in the
moon of the night for answers, always looking
for hidden clues. Voices eat away serenity
as hope staggers forward to battle the terror
that resides within.  Temptation offered so rare,
as piercing eyes savor the silhouette as hearts
beat to meld as one.

Flowers wilt, yet, renew themselves as heaven
explodes in light that sparkles.  To lust after
perfection and find the heart to small to love,
beyond beauty.  Somewhere, a real person squeezes
luster in the blink of an eye.  Someone special
is hidden in the rose, that can't wait to share
the magic intended to join each other.

God will bring forth souls to hold on tightly.
Flowers perfumed and colored, as shyness smiles
with gentle understanding. Truth shows that promises
are not certain, but there is a special one who waits.

a good piece of poetry which flows smoothly, a good descriptive stream of language that twists smiles into the light of the moon.
