horned goddess of the moon
in endymion's sleep you weep
leave him a kiss my love
your rays that graze mount latmus' peak
fair face of the moon
belly full, child of your groom
bless them, the menae, my love
fifty months to shine on us all
moon child to the noble hyperion
nursed at bright theia's bosom
shining goddess of the night
i honor thee with this simple rite

I don't know a lot about Mythology but it does fascinate me, as did your write! Made me want to know more about this Goddess!!
I'm not sure if --- closed for construction--- means you were planning to write more? But I'm judging

"while I appreciate the niceties"
AHAHAHAHAHA =D
"horned goddess of the moon"
Horned? She has horns? Please explain to my foolish mind.
"endymion's sleep"
Is Endymion a god?? If so, his name should probably be capitalized to indicate so. If he's not...forgive me.
Good luck here

selene had a crescent moon adorned upon her head that looked like horns; ironically her chariot was pulled by oxen. endymion was a mortal, a sheperad, whom she fell in love with; she begged zeus to grant him eternal sleep, thereby making him immortal.
