Hush sweet baby,

Dream away,

Close your eyes,

At the end of the day,

Off to dreamland

You must go,

With kisses from mummy,

From head down to toe,

Magical lands

Enter your sleepy head,

When you are laid down

In your comfy bed,

Hush little infant,

Nighttime is here,

Mummy will rock you,

You've no need to fear,

Drift away darling,

Close your pretty eyes,

Sleep soundly my angel

You'll wake at sunrise.

    A simple yet beautiful lullaby you got here, I can imagine the scene already and I can feel how the persona croons the baby slowly with these lines n.n
    One typo- it should be nighttime ^^' Just pointing it out . . .
    . . . hmm, there is not much to say here but I'll add that the flow was great with the unforced and subtle rhyming scheme here and well, pretty piece you have here!

    A lovely write. A beautiful lullaby for a child. Heartfelt and melodic. Good imagery, flow, rhyme and tone. Lovely depth of feeling. Excellent rhythm. Good word choice, nice alliteration and assonance. Well penned and much enjoyed.
