"Oh God! Please open my eyes" I said.
The Lord replied " Let there be light",
and lo, a ripple in Space/Time
appeared, like a candle flaring
in a dark cellar. Shining with
laser-like precision, illuminating
the primal darkness. It was
a moment of breakthrough;
a fairy breath held and exhaled.
The light of creation, silvering the void;
flooding the senses like the first morning
of Time. The blindfold dropped, and I saw
love floating freely, as light and airy
as a cosmic feather in a divine wind--
God had opened my eyes.

"The light of creation, silvering the void" Nice line. It must have been how Adam felt. Also like "the first morning of Time" and dropping of the dropping of the blindfold.
You depict a benign sort of God, perhaps even joyful.
Nice work.

Gravitation to understanding expands every divine idea's spiritual essence in a radiance few of us have ever imagined. I wonder sometimes about the dimensions, color, and form of that kind of vision, from my blinfolded perception of things. Cosmic feathers have momentarily become your quill, probing more than outline.

Yes, brother. Love the flow in this piece. An inspiring (eye opening LOL) piece.
Yet another side of you is seen. Good luck and write on. One.
