Sitting excited talking; poetic
food before our heart explodes
because.....
life is a struggle until
you let your spirit unfold.
You encouraged me!
Children playing B-ball
as we collaborate
this unfinished romance
just you and I
writing vivdly
daughter.....
words ripping out parts,
ideas from the soles
of tired feet.
I never knew the day you were
born, you're so much like me
lost in a world of
fantasy, imagery
sharing my poet's soul
Raingoddess.....
spirit of my spirit
my first born.
Let's finish writing our book
around your dinning-room table
feasting on Victorian
ages, when men were Knights,
Dukes, Counts and Kings
who will believe we
write such Old
English things?
I dedicate this write to
you my daughter
That I proudly behold
in my heart
for giving me courage,
pushing me...
