the wine of life

Wine is not the essence of life
but a meaning that could change our world
wine is a pleasure and not just substance
it calms the man of his nature
but leads many to greed and lies

many seek the the leftovers of wine
which are either past down or deserved
they seek the treasures of that stream to come
yet you have to work to obtain it

i think people are filled
with an essence of not just material
but a further existence of love for life
wine cant just be an object
it can help in the desired manner

i have wine of my own
and it does not leave me heavy headed
but instead it is my reward as a sign of how hard i've worked

i need the wine in order to survive
but only those from past generations will provide it
everyone has their wine
and only they will fulfill those dreams

men and women alike have their common grounds
and both only strive to collect and benefit from their own vines
im young and yet i can still have my wine
whether it be provided from affection
or worked from their sweat and tears

and it can only be my tears
that will be shed before i have my personal fill
and then make others realise that they too
have a vine that they can grow

when i have reached the end of my vine
i have the right and the privilege of passing my vine over
and let the next generations to have a meaning to life
i want my vine to be the strongest of all
and be the one to make a difference

so when you finish you wine and have your fill
think of how your next generation will be
