Enlightened: and God knows my name

From the moment

You spoke all things

into existence

the path of humanity

was set, no

seconded guessing

as You knew, oh Father

precisely

what was to be.

I have forded many

spiritual rivers

only to thrash about

blindly failing to hear

Your voice

desiring to guide me

in the right direction

with perfect

loving patience and

after much arduous struggle;

I simply opened my eyes.
