Sometimes I wander through life,
in such a reckless way,
wondering why nothing works out,
as I waste another day.
Sometimes I believe I know the answers,
when in fact I am so wrong,
It seems I’m wandering blindly,
and have been doing it for so long.
Sometimes my mind will go astray,
without thought given to fact,
it hits me hard much later,
as I must pay for this act.
Sometimes I speak to quickly,
tongue tangled as I speak,
it can cause another such pain,
it makes my words so weak.
When I lose sight of my inner light,
that connects me to all humanity,
then I am simply lost in this world,
in a life that is lacking of all humility.

An amazing piece...
An amazing piece; there's nothing reckless, regarding the flow and message of this wonderfully conceived poem; bravo! --Joe

I guess we're all fumbling in the dark, as your poem illustrates. Nicely done.
