I hold the frame before your eyes,
In it I see the rich texture of a color so serene,
A world so blue that I cannot help but stare,
There is love here, a love I cannot face,
For you are not for me.
For now I'll paint a portrait,
Of a beautiful face at a beautiful time,
A moment, a single moment,
One that lasts for all time.
True love doesn't wait,
It is preserved.
Please tell me what you think

Yes, this poem is almost another poems worth over he limit...

This piece is beautiful, going along nicely with the chosen inspiration. Moving, and penned with some great imagery. Nicely penned!

I like it!! It's full of passion and I understand what your saying clearly. I can see what you mean by going over the word limit though. It's still a good piece!
