better luck next time, kiddo

i heard it here
a sound that traveled
on the wings of the north atlantic
it sucked the big toe of italy
then tickled bangladesh
and even the girls of madam hanoi’s
happy palace
stopped counting
the night coins their
thighs had
cashed

it perched
near my window
bathed by chinese light
and cocks and clicks
like a metal mouse
starving for more than this
hello
goodbye
another faint hiss
from red stripped
boxers
and that curse of numbers:
06 13 30 35 53 01

the ones that hit so close
but always
miss

Poetry here. You win this contest I'm sure. Hands down. You do have quite a few "ed" words at the beginning of stanza two, otherwise, this is very strong writing. First stanza is golden. And even if you don't win gold, you will qualify. I know this. My crystal ball says so. Well two crystal balls, I have two, at least I hope.

sounds like a declared poem about gambling
all poems are about that but whatever
    tis anyways bingo
    lotto
    smokepot
    jerkjack

    what was behind the strips?
    not ecstasy for sure
    maybe something beyond

I'm not sure but if I'd had the chance I'd go through heaven like a bullet through cheese
    see whats beyond...
    ya know

You're probably the only person I know that COULD actually go through heaven like a bullet through cheese...lol

I don't know whether to be horrified or terribly impressed by that.

horrified or terribly impressed is the same thing
we like art because it shocks right?
the rest is just aesthetic labeled wallpaint...
for a wall where only the cracks count
in the absence of a door

By the by, have I told you just how much I love your little cat pic? It's so Asian lookin' and reminds of my fatso cat Nugget. His butt is just as wide!

A veritable poetic tossed salad, with lots of tasty crunchy bits. I for one, think this is fine poetry, and all the best in the contest dear.
