My heart stands still,
I can’t breathe anymore,
I’d like to take one breath,
but I wonder what it’s all for.
I’m running out of air,
I feel a dizziness inside,
my lungs are cold and dead,
and my heart bursts open wide.
You take my breath away,
you stop me in my tracks.
You make me realize,
I can’t live another way.
I’m standing here breathless,
without a word to say.
Wondering if I’ve got a chance,
will I live to see that day.
My heart skips a beat,
as I’m gasping for my breath.
I’m to young to die,
I’m so afraid of a lonely death
Just one little sigh,
could bring me back to life.
End this needless misery,
in a world so full of strife.
