Refreshing Water

Taste the water as it comes from my mouth,
Taste the lies as they fall through the cracks.

See the deceit as I laugh around my deck,
See my eyes as they turn laughing at your foolishness.

I care not for your life,
I care only for myself.

You look at me and see a lie,
I look at you and see myself.

You look at you and see the truth,
I look at me and find your lies.

Nice write, I like the way you have stuck to a theme and used repetition of ideas effectively and I also enojyed the way you have taken the prompt.

    Thanks for entering,

    Michael

Jeff!!! I love this! It's really strong and your words flow like water, (no pun intended) creating a picture in the mind! Good luck in the contest buddy!
