Silent Whispers, - Sonnet LXXIX

Missing image

How else, shall we be blessed or be assumed
as having the eternal life, like death
whose own reversal claims are whether groomed
for after-life consumes it one long breath,
believing it were true, that to discard
the hope that living was, a death's prelude
forever this judgemental disregard,
though proven fact delights, I do conclude.
Horizons' are not reached, but there they are
as far the eye can see, then death shall so
delivers it unanswered, then the star,
explains the immortality I know.
If lost for words, then death for me somehow
shall invite you to silence this avow.
