Shed my inhibitions

Shed my inhibitions

not so long ago.

Kissed Prince Charming

then booted him out the door.

"and they lived happily ever after"

What a pile of toad.

Not easily ignored,

was your need to control.

Paper, rock, scissors,

a childhood game of old.

Living with you

was razors to my soul.

Shaming you,

or blaming me,

an odd couple comedy,

in reality not so funny indeed.

Shed my inhibitions

not so long ago

traded in the scissors

you sharpened on my soul.

Why..because I am

simply worth more.

A wonderful write. Though I felt that it said less than you wanted it to.
