stuff happens

your already so deep into my soul
my mind keeps replaying the memories
then reality hits me i havent seen you since
damn this hurts like hell
why couldnt i have just stayed
i dream that i saw you once again
then everything was alright
its a pain that wont go away
my heart so torn to shreads
keep on thinking to myself once if i didnt
leave would you be there for me
would everything come back to me
people mention you time to time
god all i think is that i want all your good times
to be mine
praying that this is all a nightmare
and ill wake up and see you
that this isnt true
i didnt know missing someone could hurt so bad
if only tht one day i looked at what i had
all around me
how would that be
im falling below
im going under
my so called life flashing by
but the only thing i see in my eyes
is you

    This is a good poem. It really gets to the core of how you're feeling about this situation.

    Except I'm not sure it fits the contest. Yes, I understand that this has torn you up, but I don't see how you've overcome anything. You're still in the middle of it. Thanks for entering though

    This is preeti much how i feel all the time, i've been missing that one person for a little under a year now, and it still hurts every day. i look at all the things in my life and half of the are things between me and him. I realli like all the emotion you put into this, the title is good.. even though its like the first line just as the title. great first line tho. and the last thought is true, everything that you see in your life is all abotu them. the hardest part is to let go, and its still something that i really havent done. i just cant let go. i wish you all the best. ill be here if you need it, common thoughts are a lot more easy to help others.
