I had a dream the other night
That I broke it off with you
And now I’m starting to believe
That dream just might come true
You fail to acknowledge my presence
Even when I’m by your side
And if you don’t believe in us
Then it’s right we say goodbye
I thought that we were perfect
Another fairytale to read
We would be like Jack and Sally
Love is all we’d ever need
But I’ve got a big imagination
And none of my tales will come true
I can’t understand how I believed in us
More so that I believed in you
