You’re the root of my imagination
And the truth to everything
You’re the song on every frequency
That makes me want to sing
You’re the star against the sky
That guides me to your door
You’re the curtain on my window
And the shadows on the floor
You’re the fire in the candle
Helping me to write
You’re the air in which I breathe
That fills me full of life
You’re the notes in my favorite melody
And the strings on my guitar
You’re the never-ending highway
That’s rolling beneath my car
You’re the life inside my nothing
That consumes my heart each day
You’re the one I’ll always love
And with you I’ll always stay

My power was out in my house for about four or five hours because of the storm we had, so I got to writting some poems. Hope you like it!
