My Cat Chloey
black and white
green eyes and pink nose
a fat tail with yellow claws
thats all of him

Mommy's Lighthouse
this house
is white and green
and kinda funky
the rocks splash around
like an octopus in a flashing house
The door is locked without a key
how do you get in the house?
how do you make it big?
There are stairs
all the way all the way all the way
up to that house
and there are spiders
and lady bugs
and monsters in that house!
Author notes

These are fabulous ... I love that you used colors to effect the poems ... and although the vocab may be basic, which is to be expected, the images aren't tainted by flowery expression. Actually, these two are a breath of fresh air. *snicker*
Bravo Ethan, Bravo!
