Deep Waters

Missing image
Tumbling through life's rapid motions
in frantic rhythmic beats,
some cuts and scars are superficial
while others run too deep.

As Spring of love seeps into summer
breathtaking in emotion,
passion flows through veins of faith
to meet forever's sea.

But slowly moss creeps over footings
and with sorrow blindness grows,
condescension blooms wih arrogance
as hearts blister with ice.

Curled up within cold winters snow
soul awaits sincere vitality,
when true devotion will thaw frozen veins
and burgeon in springs vivid regeneration.

A beautiful message, and I love that first stanza. The rhythm is superb, I very much enjoyed reading this. You definitely have a lyrical way with words!
    Well penned.

I like your tumbling-through-life take on white water. Nice - the spring of love seeps into summer, but the flow of passion is stalled on moss footings, growing blindness, blooming condescension, "hearts blister with ice," the soul waits in the curl of winter, "true devotion will thaw frozen veins." A flowing capture of the phases of our hearts.
    Congratulations on the gold.
