The beauty and magnificence of our world,
created for our eyes to see,
and yet, all nature does, is see itself.
Humans rarely stop to think or to contemplate.
They rarely see or feel the power around them.
Magnificent, High and Glorious is He,
who created this wondrous earth;
its sun rising everyday in grace unsurpassed;
its earth, beauteous and grandiose in all its forms...
But alas! It is more often unnoticed and unseen by our eyes and souls.

i was hoping to think of a title that doesn't give the poem away but i could only think of this one. Feel free to suggest other alternative-titles.

How about "Unnoticed" just a thought. I love this poem alot. It is very true how we so often rush through our days because of all we have to do and never take the time to just pause and take it all in. Great write. ~mandie~

Outstanding
It is true that we often miss the beauty of our surroundings as we are preoccupied with other concerns. I spend as much time as I can outside as I find it very relaxing and I do try to appreciate the world we live in. I liked the spiritual tone in this poem linking God's powers with the beauty of the earth. This is a strong poem with depth and feeling. Best of luck in the contest.
