unending love

Strong night winds howl at full moon’s rise
to rouse star’s sparkle in dark eyes,
and gaze on milky way’s silk lace~
reminders of amazing grace.

The sunset’s glow that blushes cheek
exudes a love that’s quite unique,
for flames burn hot in soul’s embrace~
reminders of amazing grace.

When heaven’s scent infuses sky
and glides down with angelic cry,
the tears of joy splash on a face~
reminders of amazing grace.

As rush of time awaits an end
and faithfulness of lives transcend,
sun’s fingertips on hearts will trace
reminders of amazing grace.

Within the hues of rainbow’s arc
are promises with timeless mark,
indelible, that can’t erase
reminders of amazing grace.

    Bravo!

Beautiful Kyrielle. One of my most favorite forms of all. Excellent penning my friend, but that comes as no surprise. I loved this one. ~Pamela

love Love LOVE the images in this one...the Milky Way's lace, heaven's scent, etc. It constantly amazes me that you can do both free verse AND form so well. You are incredible

    amazing...

very interesting catch phrase u have there at the end of each stanza. The poem is a reminder that all good things are worth waiting for...that is for sure. Beautiful imagery as usual and the progressive reminders are a very nice touch.

Great to read something by you in rhyme. This poem has great flow and I liked the subtle repetition. The world is indeed full of grace and you captured this with some excellent imagery. This is a fine poem that speaks out. Best of luck in the contest.

I see what you did there, lol. But yeah, it's so true. Just looking at the wonders of the universe, like the Milky Way, is a powerful reminder of the amazing-ness of creation, and the even more amazing-ness of the One who created it. wow, that was the deepest comment I've ever posted.
