I watch the sun fade across the water
and wonder will our love do the same
will it fade and be no more or will it
rise like the morning sun or will it drown
in a watery grave from the tears I know I'll
cry don't let our love fade don't
let it go down that way
let's make it come aging so we
can say we've had a life well spent
I love you so so don't let us go

Kay,
Just wanted to come back and thank you for your entry into my contest. These words have a touch of Country realism - potent, moving, and direct. Ever think of turning this into lyrics? I think they could really work that way.
Thanks again for sharing your warm words and thoughts!
Best, Andrea
