They tell us that we should fight in Iraq.
They tell us not to trouble ourselves
With Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan.
We send our troops off to die
Just for a bit of oil,
Oil that will soon run out anyway,
Instead of searching for the one
Responsible for that horrendous act.
The war in Iraq more of a distraction
From 9/11 then a true cause.
They pretty much just wanted
Us to forget that terrible day.
But if I could talk with Bush
Just to speak my mind to that ignorant pig.
To let him know of all his screw ups and leave.
But as I walk away I know I would say
"Oh and by the way, this is the USA
And we will always remember."

WOW. I think you've made your feeling towards Bush quite clear, with a message that change IS NEEDED, and a touch of patriotism.
Great write! =)

YAY! I don't like George Bush either! We totally NEED some solar-powered cars! (dreaming...) In the 14th line, I think you forgot the word "to". I really like this poem. I think you'll do great it the contest.
