Crossroads

God how much I miss everybody
best friend is gone
got no girl,
my idol done
and my superman vanquished.

I’m at the crossroads of life
where no matter where you turn,
you’re wrong,
there’s no right way,
you’re done.

Everywhere i turn,
I see nothing that enlightens me,
I miss my happiness,
I’m changing,
into a monster I hate.

I'm at the crossroads,
the point at which
i can make or break,
so be responsible
for what you choose to create.

I wish someone could tell me why I died,
but i’m dead,
nobody went to my funeral,
and I have no offspring,
I had one life, and I blew it.

I'm at the crossroads,
the point at which
i can make or break,
so be responsible
for what you choose to create.

It’s over,
there’s no such thing
as Aaron Godwin anymore,
he’s gone,
he’s never to return.

Even if he wasn’t dead,
I would have banished him anyways,
he was weird,
stupid and awkward,
nobody liked him.

I'm at the crossroads,
the point at which
i can make or break,
so be responsible
for what you choose to create.

I'm at the crossroads,
the point at which
i can make or break,
so be responsible
for what you choose to create.

The sun always shines at his graveyard,
yet not on his grave,
God must never want him to return in any form,
I know I don’t, I killed him.

Some parts seemed a bit off from the flow, such as:
"I would have banished him anyways,
    he was weird,
    stupid and awkward,
    nobody liked him."

i think this works pretty well for lyrics, poem wise it's not as strong because there's not a lot of metaphor/imagery but it fits the topic pretty well.
    thank you for entering,

Very sad words expressed here, well expressed, I feel you reaching out with each word I read. I wish I could give you a happy pill to make all things good..but life is harder then that, as you know. We all hit these bad roads...sometimes they stay longer then we wish. Hang in there..lay low till things rally once again. Be patient...God Bless..thanks for sharing
