Wherein Summer is a Foreign Concept.

Change is in the eyes of the beholder
doll
And yours are looking just so weary.
So why not rest your head a bit
you sound a little addled
It's quiet here,
so hush up dear,
Monsters don't exist

Author notes

I don't know.
I suck.

"But are you going to kill her off?"
"It's not your decision. I love the character, she stays."
"Yeah, well the only thing love's done is put you in this position; I say kill her off!"
"Yeah, but you say a lot of things... and how does that work? You're a bicycle"

XD i love your litte conversation in the AN's. it's quite amusing.

XD Not much to say about this poem. ((I'm not so much a short-poem person, can you tell?))

i do however love the lines
    "It's quite here,
    so hush us dear,
    Monsters don't exist"

    ^^

    Sshh.

This, to me, sounds like a quiet little reassurance you would say to a child - despite your author's notes.

I really liked it, though I don't understand the connection with the title.
