Scratching off lottery tickets
loose every time,
hoping for a big wind fall
nary a dime.
At the end of my rainbow
puddles of mud,
not even a glint of sun
just the clouds scud!

Baaaaby, where have you been? Inside my head?
Read my "Slots".
At this rate we may be here all night. -
Aww I'd hate to have that happen. We have had scratchies banned here and I'm not old enough so I can't say I've ever had that problem!!
I just have one thing; is loose meant to be lose??
Just curious
Good poem, good luck with your entry

So true
I told my friend one time when she asked me arent you gonna buy a ticket and I told her no I just as well pick my nose for at least there I would get something back in return hahaha

-
I know exactly what you mean. I used to buy them but for every win there were about twenty losses. So I guess that I never really won. There was no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for me either. Thanks for sharing and God Bless You!

Great Write
I buy them now and then. I never win much either. Thanks for sharing. I like the rhyme, made for a pleasant read. Take care.
Blessings,
Sandy

This is the truth. I waste so much money on scratch offs.
-
Awwww. I am discouraged now. You have taken the glint off of my planned retirement fund. What will I do?
