Water closes in around
My Head.
I had a dream that this was nothing we had never done
before. I had a dream that these hot waters were new
born from volcanoes and I had a dream
that you were here with me
that this would be
Significant, that some kind of song, some word or sense
harsh poetry
would refer to this. Some meaning would abide within a nightmare
some definition would agree...
Nothing did.
Water closes in
I jumpstart hotwire fire up get going
(groggily, sinkingly)
and breathe in
a solitary cup of iced kindness
or call it death or call it
something else
i'm not here
so can't dispute
there are no words to explain nothing
to no one but yourself

Whoah. This was awesome. I loved it, the only part I didn't like was the very first part "Water closes in around My Head" which I thought distracted from the piece as a whole, especially since you repeat "water closes in" later on. I love the whole thing other than that... excellent job.
Thank you for entering,
