The Love of a Star

My stardust, and my hope for tomorrow
With every touch felt, every smile that I borrow
I turn it into something with the palm of my hand
And then place it in yours to make something grand
Chemical attraction, I've no reason to deny
Divine distraction, I'd rather choose to comply
For my star, once tiny and new
Has grown to be stronger and beautiful too
You shine like the sun in the darkest of nights
Illuminating my heart when there is lack of light
My red star shine, you're growing in pride
Is it from my love, or from what's inside
I take little notice, stuck in awe of your beauty
Captivated by the thoughts and things you give to me
So bright, so shining, so heavenly rare
You take up the space, and fill up the air
With your gravity of love, of epic proportions
You now have my heart in a fit of contortions
Blinded by your light, unaware of what's to come
A fool in love I am, I will soon succumb
You burst under what seemed to be your finest hour
And now all I can see is how your heart devours
How it demands to suck the life out of my soul
My love, you kills slowly, just like a black hole

    You need ...

to remove the "s" from "kills" in the last line. Otherwise, this isn't a bad job.

    Thanks for entering.

    Intersting Twist

I enjoyed the rising love, the hinted at pregnancy and growth of love, slowly flipped into a soul devouring black hole. Well done!
