I watch an eagle skimming lakes waters.
His wide wings splashing to the left and right.
I am surprised buy the ease in whish he glides.
With the ease of a swirling wind he swoons and soars
The whole length and breath of this glacier fed tarn.
His reflection looms across the clear waters.
In his talons a fish quivers in throes of death.
He perches on a leaning fur tree and devours
To him it is survival, there is no wrong or right.
In a semaphore of wide wings he bolts again
Lifting high in the air without a single care
Then glissading downward as only it can glide.

Very impressive sight I would imagine, we have slightly smaller ones here but no less breathtaking to watch them fly. Love, C

the images you have penned here made me smile as they brought back memories of watching a kestrel for almost an hour one sunny afternoon. It is a gloomy, rainy day in my neck of the woods so thank you Jeff.
