Love's Serenity

Missing image
Green Eyes gaze into clear horizon,
are you there amongst the hues?
All the colors speak your name,
I have found warmth in your arms.

Golden silence creates such sensation,
forbidding mountains hide the sunset.
My pulse races to find the one I love
beyong the vastness love waits for me.

Days ending creates serene twilight,
mesmerised from deep within my soul.
Searching, wanting that deep feeling,
envision the resplendence of you.

Miles apart yet hearts beat together,
unknowingly we found solace in love.
Drawn deep into our unforeseen passion,
now my heart feels you, in all I see.

Quietly love roots itself in my heart,
it now shines in the stars and the sun.
Desire felt so deep it seems endless,
when seen through eyes of adoration.

    This is without the usual flair for rhyme, but, the reader gathers in the images to hold on to warmth of shared love. The diminisions of silence, mountains and serene twilight catch the soul. Heartbeats with passion roots love tied to the heart. The consistent sound is a lovely aspect. The shape complements the nature of the poem.
