I did not look for love, but love found me
And then my life was changed in every way
I poured my heart out into poetry
That told of how I loved her every day
She wrapped me up in tissue paper lies
And I believed that every one was true
I dreamt that I was living in her eyes
Which sparkled like the sun on morning dew
She told me that she'd met a better man
And stole the heart I didn't know I owned
When she arrived it changed the master plan
The happiness she gave was only loaned
But now she's gone I fear that I am lost
For I must love again and bear the cost
Author notes
When your love lets you go you only want love more
Even when love wasn't what you were looking for

It's good rhyme, bro, but is it going to set the world aflame?
The poem itself is no sae bad. A better man? I doubt it!
