You might have thought that we were strong
And we’d have a relationship that’d last long
Sorry to say, “It’s just not so”

Might have taken it with all good stride
But you turn on me like Jekyll and Hyde.
Getting tired of always being abused

If I would cry or seem upset
You’re quick to repent or quick to regret
Yes, so we both have tried.
Paid counselors, even a spiritual guide
But I can see there’s just no helping you
Can’t you see we are just “plain through”?
Don’t flatter me with your ball-faced lies
Nor think of me as “not too wise”
Cause I’m onto your schemes.
And I’m tired of all the false hopes and pipe dreams.

You’re totally lazy and just a freaking slob

I’m surprised you carry yourself to work or even have a job.
Don’t flatter yourself and think I care
If you listen; close, you’ll hear me swear
That I’m tired of all your selfish ways
And I’m tired of wasting precious days
On a man that only loves himself
And has thrown my love upon a shelf.
Don’t talk to me and think I’m charmed
For you just might be quite alarmed
