Sweet Lord child, which sin corrupts you?
Blemishes your very soul?
Leeches the goodness from your heart
Leaving nothing but barren soul
Lust filled passion, tender, sweet
Skin bared, feelings exposed, conclusions reached
Hungry for love, for the sweet caress
Of satisfaction
Avarice, greed, for everything: Food, women, wine, money
The cravings of a universe
A desire to achieve everything
A realistic need for nothing
Gluttony to gorge oneself
The sweet, the savoury, the inedible
Over indulgence, consuming all
From the inside out, foremost, the soul
Sloth, the lazy, sleepy beast
Which lurks inside us all
But is often more prevalent, in those
Who do not oppose, the vices
Wrath – the pure fury,
Of a woman truly scorned,
The fighters, the stalkers the cheaters,
a man losing in the game he adores
Envy of everything
Of what you crave to be
Celebrity overdose, paparazzi wannabes
Wanting it all
Pride in small doses, is acceptable, it’s true
But obsession with one’s self,
Mirror reflections of supposed perfection
Effect the view of what is normal
Seven deadly sins
Cardinal in their nature
Corrupting in themselves
Confess now, or pay eternally
