You have no idea what may climb out.
Don't expect a literary masterpiece
this is a 'deep' subject
So get out the pitchforks and rubber boots
You will need them
Inner strength, wisdom and understanding
these are words that do not easily digest.
Inner strength, how do you define it.
Can you?
This is something that we see in others.
We perceive a person to have such a quality.
But, if we attempt to define the character of such trait
we come up very short.
Yes, we know it when we see it. Others, may see it in us.
Just don't limit it by putting it into a box
or bottling it and trying to sell it.
It exists, it is
Sort of like God, saying "I am."
he understood that divine nature is not translatable.
Now, that I've escaped that trap
Let's look for the source of inner strength
What is the light,
What is the ever renewing source of water,
What is the energy,
What is the 'aura'
of one who has 'inner strength.'
I pull out my rifle
and take out a few clay pidgeons
I hit targets,
but I miss the mark!
A bullseye is not possible for one
with limited comprehension and experience.
Imagine 7 blind men each examining an elephant. They each have an opinion on what the elephant is. One blind man who touches the ears says the elephant is a fan that moves the wind in its powerful force. Another, who touches the tail says the elephant is a strong hemp rope. Another who hugs the trunk says the elephant is a 'serpentine snake' that moves with complete abandon. Another who encircles a leg, says that the elephant is the strongest tree trunk, moving of its own accord. Each one is both right and wrong. Each one has a part of the truth according to his perception and understanding. But until you get these foolish men to sit down and share their understanding, no one will 'see' the whole truth.
So, I'm telling you I don't have the truth.
So, I'm telling you I don't have the way.
So, I'm telling you I don't have the light.
I just have a blind man's perception
Christ said 'the kingdom of heaven is in your midst.'
Christ said "Ye are gods."
Christ said "I and the father are one."
St. Thomas said you find God in yourself
Lao Tsu said he who speaks of the way does not have it. He who has the way does not speak of it.
Buddha recognized the importance of the destruction of ego.
A very scared Jewish prophet, Elijah recognized God as the quiet voice that speaks from within.
"If thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be filled with light."
I avoid facing the issue. I used the wisdom of these great teachers to avoid speaking my own understanding. I am a student of the path. One who is connected to the source radiates it. In his thoughts, words and actions he is one with the will of God. In his surrender he has what others so actively seek, the divine connection to spirit. I am drawn to individuals such as these, their 'chekinah' is the light that lights the world. Seek to light that lamp for yourself.

Well, it has to be said, that this is the showing of someone whos steps are not taken lightly, and each step is taken as a given path unfolds within themselves, leading only to what lies ahead in an honest and understanding path.
I never expected an answer to the prompt in such a way to make me see what was hidden, but folks, here it is. simple.
Thank you for this, truly amazing insight. well done.
