The monk parakeets do so much chattering
by the park at 5:30 near evening.
Sue appears to have lost her favorite feather,
apparently; seems she's blaming Heather
Who really wants to nest with Joe
yet he won't give it a go 'cause
He's awfully partial to the
saucy squawks of Dorothy.
And get this --- Percy Parakeet feels that
beneath his exterior, he's actually a fish.
Wants desperately to have his wings 'corrected'
into fins, but the venture's very expensive.
Must tune in tomorrow;
same time, same location.
Author notes
The above is what I think the birdies said although tis possible that humans comprehend the parakeet language quite horribly;
like pigeon Portuguese.

Vry well written. This was a witty and quick poem, with very funny storylines. At first I did not quite understand, however,have the AN at the bottom just made me laugh.
Well done,
Good luck,
Thanks.
