friends, alone, sending messages of shared yearning
how one can fall in love with only words
magnetic words and pictures, across the wires
a jaypeg love through all the bits and bytes,
through modems e-mailed passions moved!
lovers can't reach through the opaque screen
to touch exactly what their heart truly needs
instead, relying solely upon faith and trust,
words of love alone can sadly be misunderstood
across the hurdles of wires, love won't last

Words are a powerful thing and read the wrong way can be misunderstood on a screen causing real pain or they can be used to fill voids that are missing in a sad life that some lead. another well desereved Hm here all the best Brian.

I think you catch a very unique aspect of the internet. We can be such dreamers, and when you aren't in the physical presence of another person, all kinds of misconceptions can brew under the guise of painting what we wish instead of what really is....
But I do think there are some very insightful things that come through writing, too, that aren't always visible despite physical proximity. Love takes all, both good and bad, and teaches us the basis or respect, trust, compassion, passion, and myriad other attributes of life that allow us to grow. That's very difficult at a distance.
A wise and insightful piece of poetry.

but love can breed over wires...I have seen it happen. I once didn't believe, but tell that to the ones that have been together for over ten yrs 30 yrs ect...you can breed love...but over time it would have to be taken to a human level...
love your thoughts...blessings always...
