Growing up hurts
In that there's no doubt.
Learning to trust
Within myself.

Disconnecting
From childhood things
Growing up-
It's so confusing.

I'm changing, it's new
I'm going, without a clue
I'm hanging, by a single strand
This...'Growing Up', I can't comprehend.

My mind is jumbled
My heart is too
I seem to need
Other things to do.

I'm feeling empty
Feeling sad
How could things
Have gotten this bad?
