Dear John

(for Shape Poetry class)

My
mother
advised:
rings come
with strings
and I remember
engagement means
no things such
as flings. I
cannot see
you ever
again.
Bye,
Me

    I like it!

Form poetry such as this is indeed interesting and fun. The words therein are sad but true; most attachments in life do come with strings attached. Very rarely is love unconditional. Thank you for sharing.
