To the Light of the Night

Missing image
Lustrous light pervades
the dreams of day,
heightens perception
when night holds sway.





The moon alone
wields the power,
controls the brilliance
of each mystical hour.




The moon in her wisdom
lets dreams take flight,
fashions her image
in pure delight.



The moon as an image,
personification
of creative glowing light,
proves love's improvisation.



Lustrous light pervades
the dreams of day,
brightens the world
touched by this precious moon.

the beloved Moony, who celebrates
her birthday on the ninth of July.

      having birthdays so close! Yes, the visual
      is important to me, but I get lost sometimes
      from the posting page with just the code,
      remembering which graphic I intended next,
      have to keep looking after each one!

      Hey, loper!

      That opening stanza... was trying to form
      in my brain as I put pen to paper
      to draw the winged moon and the clouds.
      Rushed to finish so I could let the words
      fly from the keys before they escaped into the night.

      I wanted the words to apply to the mystical power
      each seems to possess, the moon in the sky
      and dear Moony, a sweet person.

    Yep, I knew it was Moony. It also fits our mutual friend MariGoes who is as crazy about the moon as I am Moxie (Is that possible?)

    So, I'm confused, who on The goatboard is Moony?

    If Moony has all those qualities they speak of, hold on to her as a friend...DON'T MUCK IT UP! Oh wait, that is me that mucks up friendships.
