Unique
Two toadstools and a bulldozer! Who knew they could open up such interesting possibilities? But you are always unique and original with your observations!
Good luck in the contest.

Oh I like this! Such a great 'ku; a clear picture with a surprise at the end! How fun to see it in the botanical gardens. UCLA has it's own set of Botanical Gardens... I think i should go take a walk there
.
Great 'ku & g'luck!

"do you know of any architecture that resembles a toadstool"...
at Santa Claus' Village in Merton, Ontario there was a kiosque built to resemble a mushroom...but I fear it's been bulldozed!

was it myron's toadstools that did it???

toaDSTOOLS
My toadstools have become a lovely, calm couple since they pushed up through the earth together. but that bulldozer in the third line could have been the culprit! -

It could well have been his toadstools; they sound powerful!

Nice set of images here-the toadstools, the eternal struggle to live, and the bulldozer. This is a very meaningful haiku, thank you so much.
