You told me you loved me
But yet when you see the tears I cry
You laugh in my face

Once, long ago
We were friends
Then we became more than just friends
But were not together

Once, long ago
I told you I loved you
I told you I wanted to be with you

You said no
So i stand here still
Crying
Slowly fading out of existence

We were friends
I loved you
But I was still just a friend to you

Now I look at you
Standing strong
On my own
Never to love you like that again

    this was definetly a emotional poem you can feel it as you read the words, I also could also feel the sadness when reading this poem, who every it was when ever it was obviously hurt you very much and at some points made you almost angry the poem was well written I think you did a very good job hun
