As Jesus looked upon the earth below
he was filled with much sorrow
He had paid the ultimate price
giving his own life as supreme sacrifice
Now the world seemed to have turned out worse
shrouded with satan's curse
Greed seems to rule over every land
(This isn't what he had planned)
His tears rain down from up above
filled with both sadness and eternal love
storms, floods, famine and war
plague the earth from shore to shore
Earthquakes are felt everywhere
and people seem not to care
if others suffer and struggle to survive
as long as they continue to thrive
His tears rain down from up above
filled with both sadness and eternal love
he was filled with much sorrow
He had paid the ultimate price
giving his own life as supreme sacrifice
Now the world seemed to have turned out worse
shrouded with satan's curse
Greed seems to rule over every land
(This isn't what he had planned)
His tears rain down from up above
filled with both sadness and eternal love
storms, floods, famine and war
plague the earth from shore to shore
Earthquakes are felt everywhere
and people seem not to care
if others suffer and struggle to survive
as long as they continue to thrive
His tears rain down from up above
filled with both sadness and eternal love

Very Nice..........
You penned a nice piece here from the photo prompt...the tears he has cried must measure the oceans of the earth at the pain and sorrow our sins have reaked upon the earth...Thanks for your entry and the best of luck in my contest!!!~~Toni~~ -
