If you are a cynic your middle name is sneer
You spend your life debunking what everyone holds dear
If anything new should come along you shoot it down with glee
You single out the negatives that’s all that you can see
you do nothing constructive your mind is just not in it
Caus’ if you did something worthwhile you might meet another cynic

Well done! What you write here is true. At some point a person must stop seeking and start living, perhaps that is when the missing pieces are found. What I disagree with is:"If anything new should come along you shoot it down with glee" Maybe some people are like that but not all cynics. Some of the cynics I know are really open minded but hold truth so dear that they are guarded against anything that might pose as the truth. Such is the case with me as well.
